Roy’s practice is focused on the defense of corporations in all aspects of civil litigation through trial in the areas of New York Labor Law, Commercial Auto, Employment Practices Liability, Breach of Contract and Toxic Tort claims. He has argued appeals before the First and Second Departments of the New York State Appellate Division, and has defended clients at administrative hearings and arbitrations with the American Arbitration Association, New York City Commission on Human Rights and New York State Division of Human Rights.
Roy also provides general counsel services to contractors, tradespeople and other small business owners on the Island of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts; and he serves on the board of the Martha’s Vineyard Builders Association, for whom he has delivered a CLS-accredited presentations on construction contract drafting and negotiations.
Roy received a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2011 after graduating from Fordham University in 2006. He is admitted to practice before the state courts of the States of New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey, and the Southern and Eastern Federal Districts of New York.
