Lou’s practice is focused on the litigation of municipal and general liability matters. He brings a wealth of experience in litigation in both the private and public sector. He has successfully litigated cases from inception through trial on behalf of local governments, insurance carriers, and private clients, obtaining defense verdicts and other successful resolutions. Lou has experience handling appeals, as well as all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.

Lou currently serves as Councilman for the Town of Oyster Bay, where he represents 300,000 residents of America’s third largest township. He was re-elected in 2021 and serves as chair of the town’s Quality of Life Task Force. Lou also serves on the Board of the Nassau County Soil & Water Conservation District and the Board of Directors of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Nassau County.

Lou has been recognized as a 40 Under 40 honoree by the Long Island Business News and a 30 Under 30 honoree by the Huntington Chamber of Commerce. Lou is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, the Chaminade Alumni Lawyers Association, the Dante Foundation of Nassau County, the Sons of Italy in America, and the Knights of Columbus. Additionally, Lou is a partner in the Energeia Partnership at Molloy College. Lou earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2009, after receiving his B.A. from Fordham University in 2006. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
