Katherine M. Weiss

Katherine is an experienced civil litigator with a focus on professional liability, general liability, Labor Law and commercial litigation.  She has defended architects, engineers, land surveyors, owners and contractors and asserted affirmative claims involving complex construction projects.  In addition, she has a background in delay claim analysis and insurance coverage issues.  Katherine has successfully resolved matters through alternative dispute resolution and argued before New York’s Appellate Division, Second Department. 

Katherine was previously Assistant General Counsel for the Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery and ensured that Federal disaster recovery funds for public projects were appropriated in accordance with New York State and Federal requirements. 

Katherine received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2014, after receiving her B.S.M. from Tulane University in 2007.  Katherine is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
