During a law career that has spanned over 30 years, Joel has practiced primarily in the areas of insurance subrogation, creditors rights and construction law.  Prior to joining MMP&S, Joel founded a law firm dedicated to assisting both large and small financial institutions in the recovery of their account receivables.  Joel then expanded his law practice to include insurance subrogation, with a particular emphasis on automobile accident, property damage and product liability subrogation.    Today, Joel assists many of the largest insurance companies in the United States with their loss transfer needs, applying his proven ability to cost-effectively maximize recoveries for his clients.  

Joel also handles business law matters for his clients, including commercial disputes, transactional, contract and real estate matters, often acting as outside general counsel for his business clients.
