Jessica L. Waters

Jessica’s practice is focused in the area of labor and employment law on behalf of management. Jessica has represented employers and municipalities before federal and state courts as well as local tribunals including the EEOC, NYSDHR, and NYCCHR.  Prior to joining MMP&S, Jessica was employed by a private law firm where she represented businesses in a myriad of employment related matters including wage and hour, restrictive covenant, and employment discrimination. Previously, Jessica was an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York, representing the City of New York in a wide-range of labor and employment matters including discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliation, as well as cases involving the First Amendment, Section 1981, Section 1983, Fair Labor Standards Act, the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, and the New York Civil Service Law. Jessica received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Touro College, Jacob Fuchsburg Law Center in 2008, and graduated with a B.A., cum laude, from the State University of New York, at Albany in 2004. Jessica is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
