Alicia is a Partner in MMP&S’s Boca Raton office whose practice is focused on legal malpractice and professional liability defense representing attorneys, architects, engineers, agents, brokers, accountants, and other professionals. In defending attorneys, Alicia litigates cases throughout Florida in state and federal court defending attorneys practicing in all areas of the law against legal malpractice, sanctions, and fee claims. With respect to design professionals, Alicia defends cases assigned to the complex litigation division for special handling by the Florida state courts representing architects, engineers and surveyors in a wide range of specialties in large scale construction defect cases. Alicia has also presented continuing legal education courses to the Florida Creditors’ Bar Association and the South Palm Beach County Bar Association as well as a continuing education course to The American Institute of Architects.
Alicia is President of the South Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) as well as the Immediate Past-President of the Young Lawyers Division and Founding Board Member of the Jewish Lawyers Association of Palm Beach County. Alicia served two terms on The Florida Bar Professional Ethics Committee (2017-2023). She is Co-Founder and Vice President of In Jacob’s Shoes, a 501(c)(3) charity which donates new and gently used shoes to children in need throughout South Florida in loving memory of her brother, Jacob S. Zweig.
Alicia was awarded the Woman of Worth Award by the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and the Leader in the Law Award by FAWL in 2019. Alicia was also named a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers and Florida’s Legal Elite by Florida Trend. Alicia completed the Internship Program with the Florida Office of the Attorney General in the Ft. Lauderdale Statewide Prosecution Division in 2013.
